Reading anything?
I'm pretty much reading manga because if I read a novel, I tend to go on a reading spree with sucks up a lot of my time that could be spent on other things, like comics.
I just got a bunch of yaoi yesterday, including one by Naono Bohra who's a favorite of mine.

I'm working on a couple of books right now. I'm reading Masquerade by Terry Pratchett, and Ingo by Helen Dunmore. I need to find some good manga to read though. XD

Currently I'm reading The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler for some comic relief. As for manga, I'm currently re-reading the Hellsing series.

I've only read the first of the Hellsing series, but that anime is all right.
Finished the manhwa Tales of a Grim Peddler. X3 It reminds me a lot of Petshop of Horrors.

The manga is so much better than the anime, since the story-lines are completely different (the manga's is muuch better) and Hirano's artwork gets absolutely astounding in the later volumes.
That, and I have a thing for Nazi's, vampires, and Catholics all lumped together. XD

XD Lazarus Heart was a weird book, but I liked it all the same. My favorite by Poppy is Drawing Blood.

I found most of the characters in Shadowmarch rather unlikeable. My favorite was that guy with the caul over his face.

Really? I love the twins, especially Barrick and the story is intriguing. I'm not sure who you're talking about though, maybe I haven't reached that point yet? I'm only 300 pages in the first book, which isn't even halfway.
Let me tell you though, best fantasy series EVER in my opinion: A Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin.

He's more of a main in the second one.
Barrick is too much of a whiney bitch for my liking, although it's the second book that really caused me to dislike him. I have a thing for redhead pretty boys, so I really tried to like him but couldn't.
